Explore our Compassvale project.

The Compassvale project photographs show a completed resale home with timber-look cabinetry and a built-in study. Use the portfolio to identify details you would like to discuss for your own flat.

Look at what you already have

A resale flat comes with an existing layout, finishes and fittings. Before choosing a new look, note what you hope to retain, what you want to change and anything whose condition you are unsure about. Current photographs alongside a floor plan help explain those questions at your first conversation.

Consider each room in terms of daily use. Is there enough storage? Does the kitchen arrangement suit you? Will existing furniture fit the way you want to use the living area? Make a separate note of items that need closer discussion, rather than assuming every visible fitting can stay or must be replaced.

Set priorities for the scope

Share your budget, planned move timing and the work that matters most to you. A list of priorities makes it easier to discuss the renovation as a whole. Include the parts of the flat you want to keep, as well as your inspiration photos, so the conversation covers the existing home and your ideas for it.

SQFT Interior's first consultation can take place via Zoom, face-to-face at a mutually convenient location or through a home visit. You do not need to have every answer ready. We work through space planning, a moodboard and a quotation before moving into detailed design development after the quotation and contract are reviewed and signed.

Plan the details before work begins

Your designer is also your project manager, guiding material selection and site coordination. Our renovation process explains the planning of carpentry, flooring, tiles, lighting, electrical and plumbing requirements, as well as the necessary renovation permits. The details are discussed and confirmed before works commence.

Any additional works or changes are discussed and confirmed with you before proceeding. Final inspection and handover include rectification works where applicable, followed by a 12-month workmanship warranty after handover.
